Justin Timberlake is coming out swinging over a report in a London tabloid that accuses him of cheating on girlfriend Cameron Diaz with a British model. The pop star's lawyer tells Celebrity Justice that the story in News of the World, tactfully titled, "Trousersnake Did the Dirty on Diaz," is false and says he's preparing to send letters to the paper demanding an apology, a retraction, and some cash.
If the tab fails to comply, Justin, 23, plans to see them in court.
"We have a great case -- everything in their story is untrue," Timberlake's mouthpiece tells Entertainment Tonight.
News of the World's naughty story details the "two sizzling nights" model Lucy Clarkson (no, we've never heard of her either) supposedly spent with Timberlake in London. One of her more G-rated observations from their alleged "secret fling": "I didn't really like kissing him because his lips were too small." <br>
The paper, demonstrating Kreskin-like mind-reading talents, determined that Diaz was "the last thing on [Justin's] mind" as he "pawed" at Clarkson's "ample curves."
"I never brought up Cameron and it was like she didn't exist in his heart because he only mentioned her once," relates Clarkson, whom the paper helpfully describes as packing "natural" 32DD's. "That was when I spilled some of my drink. He said, 'Cam does that, too.'"
Concludes the non-judgmental model, "I'd never put [Justin] and Cameron together. She comes across as a bit of a nutter."
Diaz, 31, whose own legal team is working overtime these days, was ticked off enough by the story to personally set the record straight. "I trust Justin. This woman just wants her moment in the spotlight. It's hurtful," the $20 million-a-movie megastar tells Us in a cover story titled, "Justin Didn't Cheat on Me." "We are solid and I love him."
